Unitree and Nvidia released a prototype of the humanoid robot Isaac GR00T
New platform for creating humanoid robots from NVIDIA and Unitree
NVIDIA has long been developing software and hardware solutions for robotics. This year the company partnered with Chinese manufacturer Unitree to offer, for the first time, a fully ready “reference” platform – Isaac GR00T – to budding developers.
The platform includes the robot itself, a set of arm manipulators, and accompanying software.
What this means for startups
Unitree customers will be able to receive a ready-made robot by the end of 2026 and immediately start developing their own software.
Thus they won’t have to spend time designing the hardware foundation – everything is already implemented in the Unitree H2.

What’s next
At Computex 2026, Jensen Hang reported that NVIDIA will collaborate not only with Chinese Unitree but also with developers from the United States, Europe, and South Korea. This opens wide opportunities for international development of robotics based on the Isaac GR00T platform.
