Why YU7 Max appeared in the USA?
Recently, a copy of the YU7 Max crossover was spotted in the United States. Xiaomi founder Lei Jun did not turn it into a mystery, suggesting that the car could have been purchased by a competitor or supplier. At present Xiaomi officially does not plan to sell its electric cars in the US.

Some analysts believe that the company bringing the car could be a competitor – possibly Rivian, given the matching numbers and stylistic details.

In short:

Xiaomi continues to develop its first electric sedan SU7, offering updated versions with improved design, more powerful batteries and modern driver‑assist systems. The new model goes on sale March 19 and is already available for order in China.
