AI Gmail now adapts to users' email style – “Help me write” has received an update

New “AI‑Inbox” feature is now available in Gmail mobile apps

After launching the web version, Google added the ability to use AI‑Inbox in the official Android and iOS apps.

- In the navigation sidebar, the “AI‑Inbox” link appears immediately below the familiar “Inbox,” just like on desktop.
- On a mobile device it also shows up in Gmail’s bottom bar, next to “Gmail,” “Chat,” and “Google Meet.”

Thus Google emphasizes that tasks and priorities matter more than individual emails: the AI‑Inbox interface displays a summary of tasks suggested by artificial intelligence based on correspondence, as well as topics that may interest the user.

Improved “Help me write”

Google has enhanced the “Help me write” tool, which now:

1. Analyzes the context of the email and related files from Gmail and Google Drive.
2. Adapts the text style to previous messages in the same thread.

The feature is especially useful for:

- Responding to client and partner requests;
- Sending messages to colleagues;
- Preparing project reports and presentations;
- Requesting help from colleagues or receiving feedback from them;
- Researching potential partners;
- Correspondence between teachers and parents;
- Submitting grant applications.

Users on paid plans (both individuals and organization representatives) can already use the updated version.
