Incredible “GIF-PC” from Reddit

A Reddit community has introduced one of the most “impractical” gaming computers that a user himself admits to. The build is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and an MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Ventus 3X OC graphics card, but the most unusual feature is that the case is completely covered in screens that play GIF animation.

How the project came about
Initially the idea was to use Lian Li fans. However, it quickly evolved into a large display system. The result is a build with an enormous amount of edited GIF content: a full playback cycle takes roughly 13.5 hours. Preparing the video required about 200 hours of work – adjusting aspect ratio, speed, looping and clip length. It’s not just a PC; it’s a real archive of media files.

Case equipment
* Fifteen screens
* Five 5‑inch WOWNOVA displays
* Four 8.8‑inch WOWNOVA screens
* One portable 14.5‑inch 4K monitor
* One 12.7‑inch screen
* Two stretched 14‑inch displays

* Data flow
Three single-board Raspberry Pi 5 computers control the output to the large screens. The small monitors play video directly from microSD cards – the main PC does not process the GIF animation.

Internal specifications
* Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
* Graphics card: MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Ventus 3X OC
* Motherboard: MSI X870E Carbon WiFi
* Memory: 96 GB DDR5
* Storage: Samsung 970 Pro SSD – 4 TB
* Cooling: several Noctua fans + a dual‑sided radiator system

Thus, this “GIF-PC” combines powerful gaming components with unique visualization, turning the case into a true screen masterpiece.
