Anthropic increased the limits for Claude for all users, but introduced new restrictions

- Claude chatbot users are switching en masse in recent days, mainly because Anthropic refused to do business with the U.S. military.

- In response, the company thanks its users: all participants receive doubled usage limits for two weeks.

- This rule applies to all subscription levels (including free plans) and requires no action from the user.

How it works

Why it matters
- Anthropic’s policy regarding military contracts led to the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies withdrawing cooperation with the company.

- Therefore White House staff, Pentagon personnel and other civil servants cannot take advantage of the offer.
