Apple-Car could look like this: Ferrari showcases the interior of the electric car Luce, designed by Johnny Aiv.
Ferrari unveiled the first interior details of its future electric car, Luce
Ferrari posted photos of the cabin of the new electric vehicle Luce, created in collaboration with LoveFrom – a firm founded by former Apple chief designer Jony Ive and renowned designer Marc Newson.
Instead of conventional touch panels, the team returned to Ferrari’s classic heritage from 1950‑1970, emphasizing tactile experience in the interior.
Design and Ergonomics
Aspect | Description | Style
Retro interior with an emphasis on material and texture.
Control panel | Physical buttons and toggles made of matte aluminum replace the touchscreens that were criticized in the 296 model.
Steering wheel | Inspired by classic Nardi: the horn is built into the hub, and the actuated blocks are positioned on horizontal spokes. Made entirely from recycled aluminum with CNC machining – weight reduced by 400 g.
Dashboard | Two overlapping OLED screens: the rear simulates an analog dial (Veglia, Smiths, Jaeger) through physical cutouts.
Multimedia screen | A rotating joint allows the display to be oriented toward both driver and passenger.
Ignition key / center console | Fusion5 glass from Corning with laser micro‑holes (half the thickness of a human hair) for graphics.
