Apple Prepares for Its 50th Anniversary – Five Decades of Innovation

Apple announced plans to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary with a series of events worldwide in March. In the official statement it was emphasized that each event will showcase “human creativity and ingenuity,” as well as what amazing things people can create when they have the right Apple products.

The First Concert – New York

The first performances took place at an Apple Store located in the Grand Central Station building. The participant was 17‑time Grammy winner, singer and producer Alicia Keys, who performed several of her songs. As part of the event a number of content creators were also invited, and the venue was opened to the general public.

Top Executives Were Present

Key Apple figures attended the concert:

- Tim Cook – Chief Executive Officer
- John Terneus – Head of Hardware Engineering
- Greg Joswick – Head of Marketing
- Deedra O’Bryan – Retail Network Manager

and other senior company executives.

When and Where Will It Continue?

Apple will officially mark its 50th anniversary on April 1, 2026. Details about further meetings, including their locations and dates, have not yet been disclosed.
