Asus launches a Mini‑ITX gaming board for AM5 – TUF Gaming B850I WIFI Neo

What’s new
It looks like a form factor Mini‑ITX, the first in the TUF lineup.
Processor support: Ryzen 7000/8000/9000 (all desktop models).
Power: VRM with an 11‑phase design (8 + 2 + 1), each phase 80 A. The board is made from a 10‑layer textile PCB with reinforced copper layers (2 oz).

Memory
Two DDR5 DIMM slots, up to 128 GB. Maximum frequency:
• Ryzen 9000 – DDR5‑8200
• Ryzen 8000 – DDR5‑9600
• Ryzen 7000 – DDR5‑8000

PCIe
One x16 slot: Gen 5 with Ryzen 7000/9000, Gen 4 with Ryzen 8000. M.2 slots × PCIe 5.0 (one from the processor – x4, the second from the chipset – PCIe 4.0 x4).

SATA
Two SATA III ports (6 Gb/s).

Rear panel ports
USB‑C 20 Gbps, two USB‑A 10 Gbps, one USB‑A 5 Gbps, two USB‑2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, 2.5‑Gbps LAN, Wi‑Fi 6E, three audio jacks.

> Price – still unknown. Compared to the more expensive Asus ROG Strix B850‑I (≈ $470 in the US), one can expect the TUF Gaming B850I WIFI Neo to be offered at a more affordable price.

Thus, Asus expands its Mini‑ITX lineup for AM5, offering a powerful and compact gaming board with a wide range of features and flexible memory and storage support.
