Asus fills the gap in the Windows-on-Arm market

The company Asus has become one of the first to offer laptops with a full-fledged workstation in the ARM-based computer segment. Until now, the main advantages of such devices were a slim chassis and low weight – now models ProArt P16 and P14 compete in performance with traditional desktop systems.

Design and cooling
* The chassis is made of aluminum, providing lightness and strength.

* Two cooling system options are available for both models:

* H7607BA – Ambient Cooling with a vapor chamber and “hidden” air exhausts for silent heat dissipation.

* H7607IA – a more powerful variant with dual linear side intakes.

* In both cases, Thermal Grizzly thermal paste, optimized airflow, and an integrated dust filter are used to ensure long‑lasting and comfortable operation.

Software
The laptops feature the Zenni Claw AI agent platform, which automatically switches AI models between local and cloud resources depending on user tasks. This makes them especially convenient for professionals working with large data sets and complex graphic projects.

Conclusion

Asus ProArt P16 and P14 demonstrate that ARM-based laptops can combine compactness, lightness, and high performance, including AI processing capabilities. This opens new prospects for mobile workstations in the creative industry.
