Corsair reports revenue and profit growth for 2025

Game component and peripheral manufacturer Corsair released its financial report for the year 2025. The company demonstrated increases in both revenue and net profit, enabling it to confidently confront the pessimistic industry environment caused by memory chip shortages.

Key results
Metric 2025 vs. 2024 Net revenue $1.47 billion–Net loss $16 million–Revenue “Gaming and Content Creator Peripherals” $427 million +4 %Gross profit in that category $192 million +6 %Revenue “Gaming Components and Systems” $980 million +16 %Gross profit in this category $232 million +60 %

Growth was especially notable in Q4 2025 – the gross profit of the “Gaming Components and Systems” division rose 86 % year‑over‑year.

Why the second segment grew
Revenue growth in the gaming components segment is directly tied to DRAM sales. Corsair managed to stockpile a significant quantity of chips before prices spiked sharply. As a result, the selling price of finished goods increased roughly fourfold while cost of goods sold remained almost unchanged. This explains the sharp rise in sales even amid a general semiconductor shortage.

Why the company still incurred a loss
Despite $1.47 billion in revenue, Corsair ended the year with a net loss of $16 million due to high cost of sales ($1.05 million) and significant operating expenses ($423 million).

2026 outlook
Corsair expects revenue to decline by about 5 % in Q1 and for the full year compared to 2025, but it forecasts double‑digit growth in the gaming and creative peripherals segment. The slowdown will be offset by a more cautious forecast for “Gaming Components and Systems,” given the global semiconductor shortage.

Growth strategy
The company emphasizes its intent to maximize shareholder returns through:

- expanding margins;
- strict expense discipline;
- more effective working capital management to improve cash flow across the business.

In line with these plans, Corsair may soon reduce headcount to lower costs and boost profitability.
