Leo Torres creates a realistic “walkthrough” of Ald'ruhn

3‑D artist from Australia, Leo Torres, has once again captured the attention of fans of the legendary role‑playing game *The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind* — he released a video tour of the fully reconstructed, real‑scale city of Ald'ruhn.

What was done
- City model

Torres used Unreal Engine 5.7.4 and an RTX 3090 for rendering. The work employs Lumen (global illumination, reflections), Nanite (high‑detail geometry for models and foliage) and TSR scaling (smoothing).

- Video script

The video lasts about two minutes. First the viewer sees a panoramic overview of the capital of the Redoran holdings, then transitions to a first‑person “walkthrough” through the streets of Upper and Lower Ald'ruhn. The footage also shows the estate district (Skarr), located inside the shell of one of the extinct giant crabs.

- Atmosphere

Against the backdrop of the famous morrow storms characteristic of the region, there is a sense of a living, dynamic world.

Audience reaction
Users who have long dreamed of seeing *Morrowind* with modern graphics are thrilled by the result. One commenter, Tito_ernestito, wrote: “The spirit captivates.”

Brief game background
*The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind* was released in 2002 for PC and Xbox. Despite its cult status, Bethesda has no plans for an official reissue. Meanwhile, the modding community is actively working on the TESRenewal project, which develops an unofficial remake called *Skywind*.

Thus, Leo Torres once again proved his mastery of creating realistic worlds and gave fans the chance to “walk” through their beloved city using modern technology.
