Gigabyte launches flagship motherboard for Ryzen X3D – X870E Aorus Xtreme X3D AI Top
The company Gigabyte has announced the start of sales for a new board built on the AMD X870E chipset and specifically optimized for the Ryzen X3D series processors. It is the first product of its kind with a “smart” tuning mode and even an integrated display.
What’s new?
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 | An AI system that selects the frequency, power consumption, and thermal profile for each core of the processor individually. Gigabyte promises up to 25 % FPS gains in games and up to 14 % multitasking speedup compared with default settings. |
| DDR5‑9000+ support | The board is designed for DDR5 modules running above 9,000 MT/s, has four DIMM slots, and supports AMD EXPO overclocking profiles. It also includes automatic D5 Bionic Corsa overclocking and active cooling for DDR memory via the Wind Blade Xtreme system. |
| VRM power delivery | 24 + 2 + 2‑phase VRM design, each phase rated at 110 A. This guarantees stable operation even under constant load from processors such as the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. |
| Storage & expandability | Supports up to five NVMe drives via PCIe 5.0 and features an enhanced PCIe 5.0 x16 slot. |
| Networking | Dual 10‑Gbps controllers, Wi‑Fi 7, two rear USB4 (Type‑C) ports, plus a front USB‑C port with up to 65 W fast charging support. |
