Huawei unveiled the Pura X Max foldable phone with an ultra-wide screen
Huawei is preparing the foldable smartphone Pura X Max for a presentation on April 20
The company Huawei has shown a preliminary image of its new folding phone – the Pura X Max, which will be officially unveiled on April 20. Unlike most folding devices, the model features a wider screen when unfolded, making it almost a tablet.
What’s new?
* Display
* Internal display – diagonal about 7.6–7.69 inches, aspect ratio 16:10. This is the first foldable phone with such a wide-format screen, which makes it more convenient for multitasking and video viewing, comparable to compact tablets like the iPad mini (according to GizmoChina).
* External display – diagonal about 5.5 inches. Allows sending messages and taking calls without unfolding the device.
* Camera
* The front camera is located in the center of the upper part of the external screen; on the internal screen it is shifted to the corner.
* The rear panel contains a main camera module with horizontally arranged sensors.
Technical details (rumors)
* Processor – likely to use Huawei Kirin 9030, which is also planned for the Pura 90 series debuting the same day.
* Official specifications have not been disclosed yet.
