Humble Robotics opens a new chapter: an electric cabless truck

California startup Humble Robotics has moved beyond the closed‑development phase and announced the launch of its first product – an autonomous electric Class 8 truck called Hauler. The company claims that its solution can cut logistics costs and boost transportation efficiency, which is estimated at roughly $900 billion.

What is Hauler?
- A motorized trailer without a driver’s cab – it reduces weight by 20 % compared to conventional tractors.
- It can operate as autonomous transport or be towed by a regular truck.
- An integrated “length‑transform” mechanism makes it versatile: from container hauling to use as a concrete mixer.
