Intel unveiled the "Magic Warriors": Arc Pro B70 and B65 graphics cards with 32 GB of GDDR6 for professionals
Intel releases two new workstation GPUs
Intel has unveiled two new GPUs under the Arc Pro brand – the B70 and B65 models, both based on the BMG‑G31 (Big Battlemage) GPU and equipped with 32 GB of GDDR6 memory. The new units are aimed at local AI workload execution, AI agent operation, software development, and professional graphics applications.
| Parameter | Arc Pro B70 | Arc Pro B65 |
|---|---|---|
| Xe cores | 32 | 20 |
| XMX cores | 256 | 160 |
| Peak performance (TOPS) | up to 367 | up to 197 |
| Memory bandwidth | 608 GB/s | – |
| Power consumption | 160‑290 W (standard 230 W) | 200 W |
| Memory | 32 GB GDDR6 | 32 GB GDDR6 |
Key points
* The Arc Pro B70 is the flagship. With 32 Xe cores and 256 XMX cores, it promises maximum performance for AI workloads and high memory bandwidth.
* The Arc Pro B65 offers a more affordable option with 20 Xe cores and 160 XMX cores, targeting users who prioritize memory capacity over absolute compute power.
Performance
Intel highlights the advantage of Arc Pro in Linux AI tasks. In the SPECviewperf 15 benchmark, professional application performance is up to 69 % higher compared to the previous Arc Pro B60 model.
In specific tests, the B70 shows competitive results against the Nvidia RTX Pro 4000, confirming that the powerful Battlemage GPU will first be offered for workstations and AI rather than as a gaming card.
Availability
* The Arc Pro B70 will go on sale on March 25 through Intel and partners (ASRock, Gunnir, MAXSUN, Sparkle, Senao, Lanner, Onix, etc.) starting at $949.
* The Arc Pro B65 is expected to launch around mid‑April via the same channels. The exact price has not yet been announced but will be lower than the B70.
Thus, Intel is preparing two GPU options: the powerful Arc Pro B70 for high AI and graphics demands, and the more economical B65 for users who need large memory capacity.
