MaxSun unveiled a new “Radeon RX 580” at Computex 2026

At the Computex 2026 exhibition, MaxSun introduced a graphics card called the MS‑RX580 2048SP 6H 8G. Unlike typical gaming models, it is aimed at professional workloads.

Since each of the six ports can output a separate 4K channel, the card is designed for multi‑display systems: control rooms, management panels, and other corporate solutions.

Polaris Family History
- 2016 – The first Polaris cards appeared at Computex as the AMD Radeon RX 480 (released on June 29).
- Today the family is almost ten years old.
- 2018 – In China a model RX 580 2048SP was launched: 2048 stream processors, 8 GB of memory on a 256‑bit bus. By specifications it is closer to the RX 570 than to the original RX 580 with 2304 streams.

Driver Support
In the standard gaming package AMD Polaris drivers are not supported. Instead, Vega and Polaris family cards receive a separate driver package that includes security updates and functional fixes but no game optimizations. Similarly, separate drivers are released for the RX 400/500 series.

Thus, MaxSun expands the Polaris lineup by offering a solution focused on the corporate segment with high image output density.
