Lenovo is back at gaming smartphones

Recently the company announced a restart of its gaming device lineup and this week dropped a hint about a new product via the Chinese social network Weibo. The new device will be called Legion Y70, and its look has already been revealed.

What the updated Legion Y70 looks like
- Publication: Lenovo posted a 21‑second promotional video on its Weibo page where you can see the phone’s main details.
- Colors: It is planned to be released in two variants – black and white.
- Rear panel: Textured finish reminiscent of the gaming tablet Legion Tab Gen 5. In a square block are three cameras.
- AI technologies: The video mentions Lenovo Tianxi, a personal AI assistant that may be activated by a button on the phone’s side edge.

Technical details have not yet been disclosed
Although the video does not provide specific specifications, viewers can already assume that the device will maintain high performance and target gamers.

When to expect the release?
In a previous teaser Lenovo promised: “See you in May.” The company has now clarified the presentation date – May 19, 2026. This means the new Legion Y70 will appear next month.
