The Japanese gamer-platform holder Nintendo plans to surprise its fans with another presentation in a month. After the February event *Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase*, the company announced the launch of the March edition of *Indie World Showcase*.

The organizers promise about a 15‑minute overview of news and announcements from independent developers. The focus is on games for Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.
What to Expect?
Nintendo does not disclose a specific list of games, but fan requests have already appeared in the comments on the post:
- An expansion of Sea of Sorrow to the Metroidvania *Hollow Knight: Silksong*
- The fifth chapter of the role‑playing game Deltarune
- A magic school simulator Witchbrook
- A console version of the cat roguelike Mewgenics
- And other promising new releases
History of *Indie World Showcase*
The previous edition took place in August 2025 and became a platform for announcements such as the release date of “Mina The Hollower,” the launch of “Herdling,” a Content Warning version for Switch 2, and other news.
It is important to note: by 2026 Nintendo had not held any full-fledged *Nintendo Direct* presentation (the last one was in September), only partner and themed events.
