Nvidia releases an updated graphics driver – GeForce Game Ready 595.71 WHQL

The new driver version arrived after the previous release 595.59 WHQL proved so unstable that it had to be urgently rolled back. The 595.71 WHQL includes fixes for all user complaints that arose during installation of the predecessor version.

What changed
Category What’s improved Game optimizations Support for Resident Evil Requiem with DLSS 4 and Marathon (DLSS Super Resolution + NVIDIA Reflex). No new games were added to the bundle. Fan settings and monitoring Issues with third‑party utilities detecting GPU fan operation, as well as correct rotation of one or two fans, have been fixed. Video decoding AV1 crashes when multiple OBU streams are in a single packet (Blackmagic Design) have been resolved. Graphics artifacts and errors Green “spots” in Total War: Three Kingdoms on RTX‑50, crashes in Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, image distortion in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), FPS drops in Quantum Break, and display problems in The Ascent.

Why a full replacement was made
Normally, when bugs occur, a “hotfix” – a small patch to an already installed driver – is released. In the case of 595.59 WHQL Nvidia decided to create a completely new build, which explains the delay between its release and the corrected package.

How to update
The GeForce Game Ready 595.71 WHQL driver is available:

- Through the NVIDIA GeForce Experience app;

- On NVIDIA’s official website in the downloads section.

Updating guarantees more stable GPU performance and improved compatibility with the latest games.
