Nvidia introduces Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation (DMFG) March 31

The feature works where available
Dynamic Multi Frame Generation – an automatic variant of Multi‑Frame Generation
Instead of a fixed multiplier, the system changes it in real time, taking into account scene load and monitor refresh rate. This allows generating only the necessary number of frames to maintain smoothness at 120/144/240 Hz+.
Only on GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs (DLSS 4.5)
DLSS 4.5 package
Combines DMFG with a new frame generation model and second‑generation Transformer that supports Super Resolution. As a result, up to five additional frames can be obtained for each rendered—

Key points
1. Dynamic adaptation

- The system selects the multiplier based on current load rather than using a single fixed value.

2. Performance optimization

- Only the frames needed for smooth output at high refresh rates (120/144/240 Hz+) are generated.

3. Compatibility

- The feature will be available only on new RTX 50‑series graphics cards.

4. New capabilities

- Alongside DMFG, a 6× Multi Frame Generation mode will appear in the package, shown together with DMFG at CES 2026.

Thus, Nvidia expands its DLSS stack, allowing players to enjoy smoother graphics without excessive GPU load.
