New foldable smartphones without a visible “fold” on the screen

Both companies – Oppo and Honor – are planning to launch new models of fold‑able phones soon. It is expected that they will not have the familiar “visible crease” that most such devices suffer from, which often becomes noticeable after prolonged use.

Honor Magic V6 – Presentation date: March 1

- Visual confirmation – in a post by Wang Fei, the brand’s executive director, published on Weibo, the model’s screen is shown without any visible lines.
- New material – according to GSMArena, the Magic V6 uses a “hinge made of ultra‑durable steel,” which increases its longevity.
- Technical specifications – the updated design has not affected battery life, body thickness, or dust and water resistance: the model meets IP68/IP69 standards.

Oppo Find N6 – Manufacturing process – in a video posted by Sparrows News, the “behind‑the‑scenes” assembly of the Find N6 is shown.
- Durability test – the smartphone passed 170,000 folding cycles on an automated line and after that the screen remained free of visible creases, confirming the high wear resistance of the display.
- Announcement dates – unlike the Honor Magic V6, the official launch date for the Find N6 has not yet been announced.

Thus, both companies are betting on technologies that eliminate the usual vulnerability of foldable devices—the appearance of visible lines on the screen. Exact details about the Oppo Find N6 presentation date are expected soon.
