Samsung Browser expands beyond smartphones

Samsung announced the full launch of its flagship browser for Windows PCs after successful beta testing. This is the first step toward making the app a fully integrated part of the Galaxy ecosystem.

What’s new in the desktop version
* Mobile experience migration – developers have carried over the intuitive interface and familiar features from smartphones to the Windows version.

* AI integration – the browser now includes artificial intelligence that helps find information faster and more accurately.

Seamless continuity
Samsung emphasizes that the goal is not just bookmark synchronization.

The browser allows:

1. Continue viewing the same page you were on your phone, rather than opening a new tab.

2. Use a Samsung account and “continuity” services that need to be installed on the PC (currently available for Galaxy Book 3‑6).

3. Expand the list of compatible devices in the future.

Additional features
* Samsung Pass – the password manager automatically fills login forms on both phone and computer.

* AI assistant (Perplexity) – the browser can “understand” the content of open tabs, speeding up searches. Features include:

* trip planning,

* browsing history search,

* jumping to a specific part of a video,

* comparing products across multiple windows, and more.

Technical details
* OS support – Windows 10 (version 1809+) and Windows 11.

* AI feature availability – currently limited to South Korea and the United States.

* Typically, maximum performance is achieved on Galaxy devices, but the browser is already available to a wide audience.

Thus, Samsung Browser now represents a full-fledged desktop product that provides smooth synchronization between smartphone and computer, as well as new capabilities thanks to artificial intelligence.
