Sony has added a new full‑size gaming headset, the Inzone H6 Air, to its lineup of gaming accessories.

The company expanded its PC headset range by introducing the Inzone H6 Air—a fully open set with wired connectivity. The open cup design allows air to circulate freely while still letting external sounds in, creating a wider and more natural soundstage.

Technical details
- 40 mm drivers – the same ones used in the open reference headphones MDR‑MV1, designed for studio editors. They deliver clean and detailed audio across all frequencies.
- Weighs just 199 g, making the H6 Air one of Sony’s lightest gaming headsets. The body is made of aluminum, and the flexible headband ensures comfort even during long sessions.
- Comes with a detachable cardioid boom microphone.

Audio support and compatibility
Sony worked with PlayStation Studios to optimize audio performance. A special EQ profile for RPGs and adventure games emphasizes environmental details and immersion into the game world. Through Inzone Hub software, the headset can play virtual 7.1 surround sound with 360‑degree spatial audio, but this requires connecting a USB‑C adapter to a standard 3.5 mm jack.

The headset is compatible with:
- PC
- PS5
- Mobile devices

Availability and price
The new model is already available for order. The price is $199.99. It can be purchased through Sony’s official channels, Amazon, or Best Buy.
