The action film “Samson: A Tyndalston Story” by author Just Cause will be released soon – a new trailer and release date have been announced.
Liquid Swords announces the release date for its new action-adventure
Swedish studio Liquid Swords, founded by Avalanche Studios co‑founder and “Just Cause” producer Christopher Sundberg (Christofer Sundberg), has announced the exact launch date for the game Samson: A Tyndalston Story.
What’s already known
* Release date: April 8, 2026
* Platforms: PC only – Steam and Epic Games Store.
* Price: $25 (including all future updates).
The game was officially unveiled at the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted presentation in early December last year and was slated for release in early 2026.
Plot
The protagonist, Samson McCray, returns to his hometown of Tyndalston with the goal of rescuing his sister and paying off a growing debt. The game promises to reveal a bleak atmosphere of a ruthless city where every step has a cost.
What players can expect
* Combat scenes – realistic and tense confrontations.
* Car chases – the chance to “crash”, smash, and drift through Tyndalston’s streets.
* Limited action pool – players will have to plan their moves to avoid depleting resources.
* Language support – five‑language version (Russian is currently missing).
Creator’s comment
Sundberg emphasizes: “You can’t compare Samson to GTA. It’s not an AAA game; it’s a focused mid‑budget project where atmosphere and tension matter more than scale.”
Thus, Samson: A Tyndalston Story promises to become a unique noir action‑adventure that offers players a deep narrative and dynamic gameplay without unnecessary gimmicks.
