The Golden Globe award organizers have amended the regulations concerning the application of AI in works submitted to the competition program. The main rule remains unchanged: a person must remain the primary author and creative director.

1. General principles
* A work is not disqualified if AI is used as an auxiliary tool.

* The criterion is *prevalence of human contribution*: artistic decisions, authorship, and creative direction must come from people listed in the credits.

* For any submission, the Compliance Committee will verify the role of AI. If necessary, additional information will be requested. Failure to provide data may lead to disqualification.

2. Acting categories
* Works must be based on a real performance by an actor listed in the credits.

* Submissions with substantial AI involvement (e.g., voice or face replacement) are rejected.

* If AI is used only for enhancement or support of the performance and this is agreed with the performer, the submission remains acceptable.

* Works created without the actor’s permission are prohibited: copying an image, voice, biometric data—regardless of whether the performer is credited.

3. Non‑material categories (directing, screenplay, music, animation, etc.)
* In these categories AI may be used as an auxiliary tool.

* The primary creative contribution must come from people listed in the credits.

* Any use of generative technologies must serve to improve the work, not replace human authorship.

In short: “Golden Globe” allows the use of AI only as a supporting element that cannot replace human creative input. In doubtful cases the Committee will request additional information and may disqualify a work for violating the rules.
