Gaming mouse with inductive switch Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike enters Guinness World Records

Professional esports player from Turkey, Yigit Arslan (also known as Yigox), who plays for FUT Academy in the Valorant discipline, set a new world record for click speed. He used the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike mouse and performed 760 clicks per minute – about 12.6 clicks per second. For this result he was given official confirmation from Guinness World Records.

What makes Superstrike special
- The inductive switch (HITS) allows initiating the first click with a light touch and immediately performing the second, thanks to a fast reactive system.

- This mechanism significantly reduces the latency between pressing the button and its activation, increasing efficiency in games where precision and reaction speed are important.

Practical value of the record
While 12.6 clicks/second may be more useful in some genres (e.g., first-person shooters), they do not guarantee advantages in all game modes. Nevertheless, achieving such a figure confirms the functionality of HITS technology and its potential to improve gaming experience.

Issues with anti-cheats
After the record was published online, reports began appearing that Superstrike could be detected by some games as cheating. Specifically:

- A user encountered constant bans in Apex Legends for “gameplay enhancement.”

- An appeal to the game’s administration was rejected after review.

These cases highlight the importance of checking compatibility of new peripherals with anti-cheat systems of specific games.
