Trump’s New Project: Exporting American AI through “Tech Corps”

The U.S. President Donald Trump has decided to strengthen the country’s influence on the global stage and, among other things, launched a special state corporation called Tech Corps. The main goal is to spread artificial intelligence (AI) technologies created in the United States beyond its borders.

How It Will Work
- Integration with Peace Corps

Tech Corps will become part of the already existing agency *Peace Corps*, which implements American projects abroad in education, economy, health care, and agriculture.

- Training Volunteers

The focus is on preparing “AI missionaries”: U.S. citizens who will be trained by specialists and then deployed to various countries to support projects implementing American AI technologies. The program is already open on the new Tech Corps website.

- Export Goal

Since its announcement in July last year, Trump has emphasized that exporting AI is necessary to maintain U.S. leadership in this field and counter China’s growing influence. Chinese companies are already using open AI models to strengthen their presence in developing economies.

Priority Countries
Exact lists have not yet been published, but India, as one of the world’s largest economies, will surely be included. In addition, cooperation is planned with:

- Japan
- Australia
- South Korea
- Singapore
- Israel
- Netherlands
- United Kingdom
- Qatar
- UAE

India also participates in the Pax Silica initiative aimed at creating reliable supply chains for silicon components.

What Authorities Promise
Peace Corps Director Richard Schwartz emphasizes: “The future is AI, and the U.S. through Tech Corps will be at the forefront of its spread.”

Initial infrastructure projects will start this fall. Volunteers will work from 12 to 27 months, with the government covering living expenses, medical care, and paying a one‑time reward upon mission completion.

Additional Support
The U.S. plans not only to export its technologies but also to integrate solutions from foreign companies into international AI initiatives. This will allow for more locally adapted products. Additionally, recipient countries will receive financial support from the United States.

Thus, Tech Corps represents Trump’s new strategy to strengthen the technological influence of the United States and create a global network of “AI missionaries” ready to implement American solutions in developing economies.
