Chinese automakers use racing tracks as a marketing tool

Like processor makers who promote their products through extreme overclocks, Chinese automotive groups are using famous race tracks to showcase the capabilities of their cars. Even before the official launch, Xiaomi’s electric sports crossover YU7 GT set a new record on the “North Loop” of the Nürburgring.
