Yves Guillemot, the head of Ubisoft, spoke in a Variety interview about upcoming projects for two key company franchises—*Assassin’s Creed* and *Far Cry*.

- Far Cry: Two promising projects are in development, but details have not yet been disclosed. Insider Tom Henderson referred to them by their code names Blackbird (the next installment of the franchise) and Maverick (a multiplayer shooter with an evacuation element).

- Assassin’s Creed: Ubisoft is currently working on several games in the series, including both single‑player and multiplayer projects. Three of them are officially confirmed in the company’s plans.

At the same time, two mobile titles—*Rebellion* and *Singularity*—were removed from the portfolio after a major reorganization at Ubisoft in January. As part of this transformation, the company cancelled six projects (including a remake of *Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time*), postponed seven, shut down two studios, and restructured production around five creative houses.
