Adobe removed restrictions for Firefly: you can now generate images and videos without limits, although this is not yet a permanent solution.
Adobe Expands AI Service Firefly Capabilities
*The new pricing tier gives users unlimited image and video generation without monthly credits.*
What Changed
- Removal of credit limits
All new subscribers who register before March 16 will have their monthly limits on creating images and videos lifted.
- New terms for Firefly plans
Within certain tiers (Pro, Premium, as well as plans with 4,000, 7,000, and 50,000 credits) unlimited content generation is now available.
- Support for Leading Models
Users can use both Adobe’s own models and integrations: Google Nano Banana Pro, OpenAI GPT‑Image 1.5, Runway Gen‑4, and commercially safe Firefly models.
How It Works
Firefly is a suite of generative models that includes both internal Adobe solutions and external services. After its initial launch within Creative Cloud, Firefly became an independent platform: it can be opened in a browser or used via mobile apps.
Until recently each pricing tier included a fixed number of credits for image generation. With today’s update, users who subscribe to Firefly before March 16 receive unlimited generations of images and videos up to 2K resolution.
> “Register by March 16 and get unlimited Firefly image and video generation at up to 2K resolution. The offer applies to Pro, Premium, and plans with 4,000/7,000/50,000 credits, including leading models Google Nano Banana Pro, GPT‑Image Generation, Runway Gen‑4, and safe Adobe Firefly models,” the company says.
Why It Matters
- Growth in AI Adoption
According to Adobe, 86 % of content creators already use artificial intelligence in their daily work. Over the past year, request volume has doubled.
- Simplifying the Creative Process
By removing credit limits, Adobe lets authors focus on creativity and experimentation without fear of exhausting limits.
Special Promotions
In anticipation of Valentine’s Day and Lunar New Year, users worldwide will be able to test Firefly with their own models and third‑party integrations, gaining access to expanded platform capabilities.
