Nintendo may announce Switch 2 in June
According to the latest information from well‑known insider Nate the Hate (NateDrake), Japanese platform holder Nintendo plans to hold a game presentation as part of its *Nintendo Direct* series during the first half of June.
When and where will the broadcast take place?
- Date – the second week of June, i.e. after the end of Summer Game Fest, which concludes overnight from 5 to 6 June.
- It is likely to follow Xbox Games Showcase 2026, starting on 7 June at 20:00 Moscow time.
What can be expected from the event?
In a recent video NateDrake stated that the June *Nintendo Direct* will give owners of the future Switch 2 an overview of which games will appear on it by the end of this year.
New announcements are expected, as well as more detailed demonstrations of already familiar projects – for example, Star Fox and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.
