Embracer Group launches a new phase of transformation

At the beginning of 2024, Swedish holding Embracer Group split into three independent public companies. Now, just over two years after that reorganization, it is again changing its business structure.

What has already happened
* Asmodee Group and Coffee Stain Group (formerly Coffee Stain & Friends) have left the Embracer group.

* In 2027, Fellowship Entertainment (formerly Middle‑earth Enterprises & Friends) is planned to be spun off.

New role of Fellowship Entertainment
After its exit, the company will focus solely on game development, publishing, and licensing. Key franchises in its portfolio:

* The Lord of the Rings

* Tomb Raider

* Dead Island

* Kingdom Come: Deliverance

* Metro

* …and others.

Lars Wingfors, chairman of Embracer’s board, noted that Fellowship will independently develop core franchises, while the rest will be handled through external partnerships. He added:

> “We will more actively seek collaboration opportunities on well‑known projects such as Saints Row, Legacy of Kain, Deus Ex, Red Faction, The Mask, Thief, TimeSplitters and many others.”

How Embracer will operate after the split
The holding will maintain its status as a decentralized organization with interests in various market segments. The main focus will be on mergers and acquisitions deals.

In the portfolio remain:

* Destroy All Humans!

* Desperados

* Gothic

* Killing Floor

* Kingdoms of Amalur

* Reanimal

* Titan Quest

* Wreckfest

as well as licenses for Hot Wheels Unleashed and SpongeBob SquarePants.
