Nvidia releases a corrective driver – Hotfix 595.76

The following update is the first of four drivers that the company released in the last week.

What changed
* The Hotfix driver 595.76 fixes issues with *voltage settings* on GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.

* In the previous version 595.71 WHQL users complained that:

* manual overclocking is limited – GPU voltage cannot exceed 1 V;

* the core clock is locked below 3000 MHz, even when trying to raise it.

* Version 595.71 WHQL was created in response to errors in driver 595.59 WHQL, which disrupted cooling systems and monitoring on GPUs. The changelog for 595.71 stated that “no additional problems were found”.

How it looks in reality
VideoCardz reported that the community tested Hotfix before a wide release. Users note that the update corrects voltage on affected RTX 50 cards.

> *“Hotfix 595.76 fixes voltage settings on RTX 50 GPUs”* – quote from the driver description.

Who should install it
* The Hotfix is not a full WHQL version; it’s a beta patch intended for those who have already encountered the described problems.

* If your cards are working fine and you’re not experiencing voltage or clock limits, you can skip the update and wait for an official release in the Game Ready branch.

Where to download
The Hotfix driver 595.76 is available on Nvidia’s official website – simply select the desired RTX 50 model and download the patch.
