Resident Requiem is now available in a fully cracked form

By using a hypervisor to bypass Denuvo protection, the action‑horror *Resident Requiem* from Capcom appeared on piracy sites almost three weeks ago. Now the digital hacking community has received a full crack.

Who reported the hack?

A hacker known as voices38, who successfully bypassed the protection of the shooter *Doom: The Dark Ages* from id Software last month, announced that he had completed the crack for *Resident Requiem*. According to him, work on the game took about two weeks and turned out to be the most difficult of all the projects he has already undertaken. Unlike *Doom*, *Requiem*’s protection included two new features.

What’s next?

voices38 is confident that any games with Denuvo 2025‑and‑2026 can be cracked. For security reasons we do not publish direct links to his comments.

Why is this important for PC users?

As IGN journalists noted, launching fully cracked versions (as in the case of *Resident Requiem*) is less risky for computers than using a hypervisor. A hypervisor runs the game inside a hidden low‑level layer beneath the OS and replaces responses to protection checks, which requires disabling many security systems.

Brief information about the game

*Resident Requiem* was released on February 27:

- Platforms: PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2.
- Sales: 6 million copies.
- Future plans: a story expansion.

Thus players can already download and install a fully cracked version of *Resident Requiem*, but they should keep in mind the potential risks when using a hypervisor.
