How the first images appeared
In test builds of the One UI 9 firmware, animation files clearly intended for device `H8` were discovered.
The files contain visualizations of both light and dark themes. They show the proportions of the screen and chassis of the future smartphone but do not reveal details of its appearance or the placement of modular cameras.
What this means
* Lack of a camera image
Android Authority specialists note that the absence of a photo of the camera module does not mean a “cavern” has been abandoned. The visual components are likely still in an early stage of development.
* Speed of announcement
The appearance of files in One UI 9 suggests Samsung could announce Wide Fold simultaneously with Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8, which are slated for release in the summer.
How it looks historically
Similar findings in firmware code have often preceded official device launches. However, design details can change before release – some features and elements found early may later be removed or modified.
What’s next
Experts continue to review new One UI 9 builds looking for additional evidence of Samsung’s plans to launch a foldable smartphone under the codename *Wide Fold*.
